Every time I visit Cuernavaca for work I had eaten here, now I found out that it is closed on Mondays I said ok, obviously they deserve to rest. But the Tuesday that I go, her curtain said that they open at 1pm, it was 1:40 when she was just opening her door, I don't know if she is the owner or manager of the place that day I found her in a bad mood and she didn't do well in the gym, but I asked him if it would take him a while to open, to which he replied well until the others arrive between 2 or 2:30 pm he closed and left... I was left looking forward to my pozole and the gringa on this visit because of the terrible attention she showed me, let's see if I find her in a better mood on my next visit.

Of The pozole is very delicious with the red sauce to give it more spiciness and the toast soaked in the broth. It's all finger-lickin' good. The tables should be improved a little since they are very simple and it's too bad that on promotion days for 47, they don't serve chicken pozole :(

Very good establishment, delicious pozole, they serve you very well and they give you a mezcalito at the end of your dish to "lower your belly." Tuesday and Thursday promotion on pozole.... Recommended.

Good pozoleria and taqueria. Great flavor, good food temperature, fast and efficient service, recommended for large groups, variety of food, fair prices for what you get, and well-served dishes, free parking, takeout service, and clean facilities. Highly recommended.

Location

Welcome to the vibrant world of TACOTITLAN, Pozoleria y Taqueria, a culinary gem nestled in the scenic heart of Cuernavaca, Mexico, specifically at Av. Plan de Ayala 347, Santa Veracruz. This establishment specializes in two of Mexico's most beloved dishes: pozole and tacos, and is renowned for its commitment to authentic flavors and warm hospitality.

At TACOTITLAN, the star of the menu is undoubtedly their pozole. Patrons rave about its rich, savory broth, expertly crafted to deliver a perfect balance of flavors. With each bowl, you can expect reflections of traditional Mexican culinary techniques, infused with a modern twist that will tantalize your taste buds. As one customer, Marisa Raygoza, delightfully shared, it is an "excellent choice of great pozole," embodying the essence of hearty comfort food.

However, not all experiences have been flawless. Another customer, Ivan Diaz, recounted a challenging visit marked by delayed opening hours and a lack of warmth from the staff. While these moments may detract from the experience, they underline the importance of understanding the human side of dining out, where even the best establishments can have off days. Despite this, many find themselves returning, drawn by the lustrous flavors of the meals, such as the pozole garnished with zesty red sauce and paired with perfectly toasted garnishes, as highlighted by Yaneth MF.

Beyond pozole, TACOTITLAN also offers tantalizing tacos that have not gone unnoticed. With a commitment to quality, each bite promises a medley of textural contrasts and flavor explosions that make every meal memorable. Not to mention, the establishment frequently runs promotions that encourage patrons to enjoy this delicious fare, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As your meal draws to a close, TACOTITLAN features a charming touch by offering a mezcalito, a small sip intended to assist in digesting the delectable food—a delightful tradition that enhances your dining experience. Juan Carlos Moreno expressed it well: this kind of thoughtful service paired with delicious offerings sets TACOTITLAN apart in Cuernavaca's competitive dining scene.

In essence, TACOTITLAN, Pozoleria y Taqueria stands as a testament to the rich tapestry of Mexican gastronomy, offering you a chance to immerse yourself in flavors that speak not only to the palate but to the heart. Should you find yourself in Cuernavaca, make sure to stop by for a taste of tradition, and perhaps, you'll leave with a heartwarming story of your own.
